Twins Game with Dad

On July 3rd, my Dad and I got to go to our very first Twins game at the new stadium! It was AWESOME!! We walked around for hours just to see everything inside and out and it was the perfect day for a baseball game! We had awesome seats in the Legends Club as well, from doctor at work whom is a season ticket holder. Here are a few pictures from our day!

Loon Organics

We started picking up our crop share about a month ago and LOVE it!!! The veggies are amazing! So fresh and nutritious! Each box we get has a ton of veggies and a letter with the contents, how to store or freeze each item and great recipes that are easy to make. I really encourage everyone to looking into supporting a CSA farm (Community Supported Agriculture) because it is so worth it! What a great way to eat organic and support a local farm in your community! Here is our latest box we got today!

Boundary Waters 2010

So we took our first trip as a couple (and my first trip) to the beautiful Boundary Waters Canoe Area last week and it was so fun! We went with Adam's dad, sister and her boyfriend and it was a great time had by all! We took one day trip that looped into a few different lakes, did lots of fishing, cooking/eating, reading, swimming and laughing! Our campsite was on the edge of Lake Four and we started at Lake One. We had perfect weather up until our last day when we had to canoe back. Another highlight was getting Harley in the water (and canoe, which he didn't tip!) and seeing him swim. He started out pretty wimpy just swimming and clinging to us like a child, but the more brave he got, he started to swim out to fetch sticks over and over! The only parts I did not care for were the greasy hair from not being able to shower (gross!) and the swarm of mosquitos that hung out at our campsite every night and forced us to walk around with head nets on! Overall, the trip was beautiful, relaxing and a great break from our busy lives and we cannot wait to go back again next year!
